Winners and Honourable Mentions for LMF Treasury Challenge 06

First, I’d like to thank the 9 shops who created treasuries for the challenge this week! It was such a fun week for me, to see my new shop item featured in so many treasuries and I appreciate all of your efforts. The treasuries were all truly stunning! I think I have viewed each of them at least 25 times. I shared everyone’s treasuries on my blog, facebook page, and twitter.

I thought it would be easy to be a challenge judge, but judging this challenge was no easy task. I'm a treasury junkie, so I know how much work goes into creating a treasury, especially when you have to include an inspiration item and at least three other team members’ shops. They were all such works of art, but I was drawn to one treasury the most, and that was GabAttack’s treasury,www.etsy.com/treasury/MTE3MjE4Nzl8NTkyMjE1Mjg2/im-blue-da-ba-dee-da-ba-d...It’s such a gorgeous celebration of blue and white items and my snowmen look great sitting amongst all the other items featured.

I'm supposed to choose five honorable mentions, but I don’t feel comfortable choosing five from the 8 remaining treasuries, because that will leave only three treasuries that are not mentioned, and I honestly can’t choose three that shouldn’t be mentioned. We’ve all seen some bad treasuries on Etsy from time to time, and none of these are even CLOSE to being in that category! I love the themes of the treasuries, those based on color, focused on crochet, and MysticWind’s treasury based on couples really made me smile every time I viewed it. So there are 8 honorable mentions this week!

Most important: I'd like to say thank you to everyone that joined in on this challenge with my Autumn leaves charm bracelet. It put a smile on my face every single time I saw a treasury or "Favorite" pop up on my activity stream.

I love the fall season. It's one of my favorite times of year, especially as the horrible summer heat is finally ending. I looked at every single treasury and has I had to pick the winner... I thought to myself, "Which one of these would hang on my wall?" or "Which one of these truly speaks to me about the fall season?" 

I gotta tell ya, it was a very hard decision. They were all amazing in there own ways.

So here's to counting the days until summer is over and the beautiful leaves start to change colors.
